ML Wagner Fundraising Group works with clients on an hourly project related basis or long-term, comprehensive fundraising development. Prior to each engagement we develop a formal proposal that clarifies the services to be provided, specific deliverables, a time period for the arrangement and the fee and payment structure, including how out-of-pocket expenses are billed.

Project Consultation
Wagner Fundraising charges $70/hour with a small monthly retainer for specific projects like writing a grant or production of an annual report. All out-of-pocket expenses will be billed to the client over and above the hourly fee.

Comprehensive Fundraising Development
Wagner Fundraising charges a one-time fee for broad program development like creating or overhauling an annual fund program or interim staffing; recognizing that most contracts reflect no less than six-month engagements, and many may run for 12, 18 or 24 months. A one-time fee contract will include all out-of-pocket expenses, including travel or lodging. One-time fee’s vary and are based on the location and scope of work required. Fee’s range from $6,000 - $25,000 for six months of consultation and are payable with an up-front retainer and monthly payments until the contract is fulfilled.

Out-Sourcing
ML Wagner Fundraising Group may work with graphic designers, printers, video production personnel in order to fulfill contractual obligations – in most cases every effort will be made to receive these services at a reduced fee or in-kind (free). At all times, Marcie Wagner oversee and personally manage each project.

Code of Ethics
ML Wagner Fundraising Group adheres to the code of ethics of the American Association of Fund Raising Counsel (www.aafrc.org) in establishing fees for service. This code states that fees are charged at a set and agreed upon rate
to the client, and that Wagner Fundraising will never take a percentage of funds raised, nor do we accept commission on any service.
